Nurture summer energy, make space for ease, with restorative, replenishing rest in a peaceful place
How would it feel to nurture a softer summer where your energy flourishes, and feels sustained? A summer with intentional moments of quiet mind-body rest, and uplifting simple joys, that truly serve YOU (and naturally, your loved ones too). Intentional rest and space to just 'be' isn't a luxury—it's a powerful act of self-care that replenishes our spirit as well as our tired nervous system. Restorative practices, time in nature and with hot-cold immersion nourishes every part. Not that rest needs to justify itself! Stillness is our natural birthright. Yet these peaceful moments also connect us to our innate calm, resilience, and ease as we navigate the ebbs and flows of life. Whatever your summer has in store, the practice of intentional rest will support you. This wisdom lies at the heart of yoga: finding stillness and presence, supporting one another in community. Join Carolyn at Rest + Replenish at Fire & Ice Wellness, and Westbury Wildlife Park, on the first Sunday of each summer month (book one, or all three) 01.06 06.07 03.08 Your 2.5-Hour Retreats Includes: > Sauna + Wild Dip (4-5pm): Calming nature connection, and nervous system regulation at Fire & Ice with wood burning sauna and natural wild swim pool (cold dip optional, do what feels right for you). > Settling movement + calming breathwork: Explore grounding and settling movement and breathwork to slow down restlessness towards rest, in a way that feels right for you in that moment > Restorative Yoga: Using props and blankets to support every part i to ease tension, aid recovery or nurture fatigue > Relaxation Meditations: Mindfulness and Yoga Nidra to rest the ‘doing’ and practice ‘being’ > Teas and a nourishing tasty treat: To transition from Fire and Ice into the River Room studio and look after every part This is an invitation to stop pushing through exhaustion and remember to slow down in summer: Rest is not a reward. It’s a courageous act of self-care for this fast-paced world. We are worthy of this care. Spaces are limited to 7 for a small-group experience, booking essential. Open to all.
